Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the hit sci-fi action-adventure film ‘The Lost Tribe,’ Disney will premiere “The Last Sail” at the 2018 Walt Disney World Resort®, Disney Parks Blog announced.
“We are thrilled to premiere the film to audiences on the iconic Disney theme park, and look forward to sharing more details soon,” said Bill Chappell, President and CEO, Disney.
“Fans of ‘The LOST TALE’ will be able to experience this iconic adventure in a new way in 2019.
As always, we are excited to share more about this spectacular new adventure as it unfolds.”
The film follows a group of scientists and explorers who go on a mission to the Moon, where they discover a mysterious planet and embark on a journey to discover the secrets of this alien world.
After arriving, they are attacked by a vicious creature that they must save.
After being forced to flee the planet, they discover an island inhabited by a mysterious species of intelligent animals.
Disney and Pixar collaborated to create the story that would make ‘The LAST SIGHT,’ which starred Kevin Costner, Chris Pratt, Katee Sackhoff, Emma Stone, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, John Goodman, Chris Hemsworth, Zendaya, Josh Gad, and more.
“The LOSS TALE,” which was released on April 14, 2020, earned $1.8 billion worldwide at the box office and $4.8 million at the international box office.
The film was produced by Disney Animation Studios and is directed by Pete Docter.
