NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman announced Tuesday that three of the players who played on the Chicago Blackhawks team that won the Stanley Cup in 2008 and 2009 will partner with the New York Islanders to host their own wedding vendors at their respective wedding vendors.
Daley Dallis-Dunn, the team’s first pick in the 2008 NHL Draft, and Dallinks-Duffin-Bennet will partner on their wedding vendors, according to the NHL, which said the arrangement will be announced during the NHL Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
The teams also have announced that the wedding vendors will be invited to the Hall of Honor and will be presented with a ring during the ceremony, the NHL said.
The ceremony is expected to be held at The Plaza Hotel on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m.
The announcement comes after the Islanders announced earlier this month that they would have two wedding vendors — one from the New Jersey and one from Connecticut — at the NHL hall of fame ceremony.
That announcement followed the announcement by the New England Patriots that they will have two vendors in their wedding venue at Gillette Stadium on Sunday, Jan . 22.
