Posted October 06, 2018 11:25:40After being married for over 15 years, the couple were delighted to receive their honeymoon invitations on Saturday.
The bride and groom, from Victoria, said they wanted to spend the day at their home in Brisbane’s north.
“I’ve had a lot of wedding guests come up to me and say, ‘I love you, you’re so beautiful.
How are you doing?'” said the bride, who asked not to be named.”
The last couple of years, I’ve had people who’ve gone and bought me gifts and things.”
The bride said the honeymoon was “beautiful” but said she was disappointed the reception did not include a reception with her and her husband.
“It was just a bit of fun, but I’m sure there’s plenty of things we could have done that would have made it a really great experience for all of them,” she said.
The wedding was the third of four planned by the couple, with the first to take place in September.
The groom, who is also an artist, said it was a great way to spend their honeymoons away from family.
“We wanted to do a wedding that was beautiful and we wanted to be surrounded by people who really care about us and we felt like we did,” he said.
“Our guests are so generous, they are so kind, they want to make sure we are okay.
We really appreciate that.”
